A quick introduction to generations:
Gens are simply another way to categorize players based on when they started playing MGA. This system was originally made by ridge. They are roughly 6-months long periods that start in 2016, the first gen being for anyone who joined before that year. The "original" gens were those that got to around 2019; this year, the MGA gamemode saw a big loss of players and gens were not really used anymore, simply brought in conversations to talk about the old players. At one point, the definition of a gen changed so that it reflected the playstyle of the player rather than their join date, but this new definition seems to have been abandonned. The system used here is the one created by TimeKiller and iMicro, which is basically the same as ridge's.

The information aggregated here was found by wading through Discord logs, looking at old clips, or by askind around. I may have made some mistakes: feel free to correct me.

A question mark near the name means that I haven't found hard proof they actually are from this gen. When people I asked to couldn't give a specific gen, I chose one within the given timeframe and wrote some context.

(Remember, generations tell you nothing about skill. Some old players are washed up and some new players are your worst nightmare.)
