Konata.tf — a TF2 serber | Castaway.tf — even more TF2 servers

To cut things short: konata.tf is a European TF2 server made by an anon from /tf2g/ in response to the lack of vanilla servers, at least those which have maps other than ctf_2fort in their rotation. And if we take into account the facts that Casual servers are (as of 2024) unplayable so out of the question, uncletopia servers are diet competitive servers masquerading as ""casual"" ones, and Skial is... Skial, this excludes a lot of entries.

But it doesn't end here. For regions other than the EU, castaway.tf has got your back. This time, we're talking about multiple servers hosted in the US, AUS and EU, made with the same spirit as konata.tf. This way, you've got no excuses not to connect.

These servers are still infants so it isn't sure wether it'll be a resounding success! or a massive failure. But they have already been full multiple times. In any case, this page will stay up either as part of the constant shilling campaign or as a memorial should these servers be taken offline. As of writing there's activity mostly on the evenings, almost no one plays there during the day.

AKA no moderation whatsoever apart from the bare minimum.

Even though their roots are from /tf2g/, they aren't planned to be servers for anons only. Other players can should must join (and already have, thanks to mastercom's quickplay service). As of writing, those servers are one of the few places where you can play maps like pl_cactuscanyon or rd_asteroid with people! Woah.

A part I like about konata.tf is that the server doesn't let players pick the map they want to play, but rather lets them !skip the map they currently are on. This prevents 24/7 upward or badwater scenarios.
